Your information and plans

When you send plans we collect your name, business, email, phone (if you give it), job suburb, your notes and the files you attach. We use them only to prepare your takeoff, quote and invoice you, and contact you about your job.

Form submissions and files are received and stored by our website host (Netlify) and by our email provider. These providers may store data outside Australia. We don't sell your information, and we don't share your plans with other builders, bricklayers or suppliers.

We keep plans and takeoffs for as long as we need them for your job and our business and tax records, then delete them. To see, correct or delete your information, call 0410 772 705 or send a note through the form on our home page.

Only send plans you're allowed to share. Plans can be copyright of the designer or builder.

Takeoffs are estimates

Every takeoff is an estimate based on the plans and information you supply and the assumptions shown on it: brick size, joints, waste, mortar rates, lintel selection and prices. Supplier prices change and site conditions vary.

You must check quantities, lintel and structural requirements, and prices before you quote, order materials or sign a contract. A takeoff isn't engineering advice. Where a takeoff says an engineer is required, or where lintels carry roof or floor loads, follow your engineer's specification.

Pricing, turnaround and liability

Prices are in AUD and include GST. We confirm the price and turnaround before we start. The 24-hour turnaround is our usual target for standard single-storey plans after payment, not a guarantee.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any takeoff is limited to the fee you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
